eGo Electric Scooter

I was driving to join my family already on vacation in Sunriver when I passed a shop selling cigarettes and electric bikes. I turned around.

The shop had a lot of motorized toys that didn't interest me at all. I said I'd be interested if I thought one would last more than a year. Well, we only have one bike that comes with a guarantee. I bought it.

I equipped this with a full string of Christmas lights for the Pedalpalooza lighted bike ride. I had a deep cycle battery on the floor board with a 12-110 volt converter running the lights. When my scooter battery started running down I plugged it into the converter too. I rode slowly so lots of passing riders would have a chance to admire the rig. The ladies liked it but the men not so much so.

Scooter at Irving Park start of the Pedalpalooza lighted bike ride. 6/24/11.
