Specialized Vado from West End Bikes
Shopping for a replacement ebike I wanted center drive with smooth controls. I test rode bikes past bus stops and imposed on bus drivers enough to test the wheel fit on the tri-met bike racks.
The Vado line had three versions: mild, aggressive, and very aggressive. I bought the middle model with a five MPH higher assist cutoff than my Felt/Bausch.
Karen bought a nice camera for her trip to Africa and I bought a new ebike to get around while she was gone. Here I parked in the camera store rather than risk another theft.
