Trek 1.5 from Sellwood Cycle
I went shopping for a bike to replace the Allez Epic that was stolen along with the Jeep Wrangler that toted it.
This was a consignment sale so there was no selecting for the perfect fit. Instead the Sellwood shop made seat and head set adjustments alternating with my test rides. Eventually they handed me tools from their own workbench so I could do the fine tuning myself.
I loved the feel which reminded me of the ride and acceleration of my long missed 1500. I had already bought it when I realized the 1.5 was the 1500 model with Trek's new nomenclature.

My Sellwood mechanic making the fit right.

John led me on two great rides out of Ashland. One up old highway 99 to look into California from the Siskiyou Pass. A year latter we rode the rolling hills of Ashland's upper valley. strava ![]()
